IIFA '09 was a flop show... (Family Show…?)?

IIFA '09 was a flop show... (Family Show…?)

• The only good aspect was IIFA’s invitation to the real superstar Rajesh Khanna and presenting him the lifetime achievement award to him

• The presentation and performance of hosts were cheap and indecent

• Performance of Abhishek Bachchan was super flop

• Amitabh Bachchan was appearing uncomfortable

• Focusing camera on Bachchans was looking unprofessional

• Dance programs were poorly choreographed

• Majority of Indian film fraternities were missing

• IIFA proved itself to be a intellectually bankrupt project for not nominating the great film “TAREY ZAMIN PAR” made by Amir Khan.

    yeah...i agree with u..

    i didn't enjoy it

    and the Bachchans were given too much attention...as if they were promoting themselves...but this not the first time...IIFA has always been Bachchan-show.

    i really missed the Khans....and other big superstars too.

    and performances were not much interesting ....i liked Sonam's and Anushka's performance ...others were boring....

    @Jumping Sun - i think SRK-Saif were much better than Boman-Ritesh

    You have all right to have your own opinion – biased or unbiased, but IIFA was not a flop show. Bachchans are the first family and in every award show, camera focuses on the family. By the way, in IIFA camera also focuses all the other stars. To like a performance of a individual is a subjective matter what you dislike can be liked by others.

    Ritesh and Boman were at their hilarious best and at least they are much better than SRK-Saif.

    In every award function not all the film fraternity can be present. In IIFA, star present was quite good.

    Really it was a flop show so hosts should have to think for coming IIFA.

    it was really a flop show.my family found me sleeping within half an hour....
