Diesel cars TEND to be louder (newer ones typically assess that issue and remedy it). Diesel just dropped in price and is now cheaper than petrol. Maintenance is cheaper and they dont require spark plugs. You get more tq (great for towing) and better economy/mpg.

I drive petrol cars, simply because they are easier to come by and are more convenient. More pumps have petrol at the gas station, I can choose from varying octane fuels, etc.

The cost of Petrol car is cheap when compared to diesel car. The running cost of petrol is higher than diesel. But in terms of comfort and smooth ride a petrol car is better. Moreover the spares of petrol are cheaper when compared with diesel. The maintenance is also easy. Further the petrol car is eco freindly

Cars with diesel engines are best as petrol/gasoline engines has efficiency of 26% and where as diesel engines efficiency is 45%. cosidering the above the engines running on heavy fuel are actually lighter on your pocket. Also the most R&D and technological advancements are taking placing on diesel engines. now a days diesel engines are as smooth as petrol engines.

in my view, petrol cars are better as compared to diesel ones.

though running a diesel car costs cheaper than petrol cars on short term basis because of better fuel efficiency, but on a long term basis, petrol cars cost less on maintenance, where as, diesel cars require frequent check-ups and servicing. moreover, petrol cars feel better on driving and are the engine is less noisy, while diesel engine makes more noise, especially after a span of 3-4 yrs.

hence, as per my opinion, petrol cars are better.

Diesel is better for the environment than petrol and also its cheaper when used on long distances. Even though its more expensive it does more miles to a gallon. Hope this helps : )

That is quite hard to choose

A Car running in Gasoline needs a little fuel but gasoline is very costly.

A Car running in Diesel needs more Diesel , but Diesel is cheaper comparative.

    So equally balanced.
