wii questions. easy 10 points.?
if the light on my wii is yellow, does that mean its on standby? when i first plugged it in, it was red but when i turn it off it goes yellow. just making sure because a standby light is usually red. also when the system is off, do the controllers turn off automatically? when the system is off and i press the buttons on the wii mote the lights on the controller still light up. thanks

You have Wii Connect 24 turned on, that's what the yellow standby is telling you. It's also causing your Wii to overheat. Be sure and turn the power off at the console by holding the power button down for 5 seconds everynight. The Wiimotes turn off when the system is turned off or on standby. The lights should blink a few times while searching for the Wii's signal then stay off if it's not on.

When the controller is not in use in automatically turns off until a button is hit. That is why when you hit a button the lights turn on. I have not seen the yellow light on my wii. I have a red light when the wii is turned off and a green light when it is on. It might be yellow when the wii is turning on. Between off and on but i am not sure.
