how do i turn on a new contoller? in wii sports, it had an area where i push the 1 and 2 button at the same time and it would connect. can i add a new controller at any point in any game or does it have to be done on the home menu? i am trying to play mario party and when i select 2 players, it says add another controller. when i try, the lights flash continuously and nothing happens. yes the batteries are brand new and the manual says nothing that helps me. why wont my controller connect. i have 2 and the first one will always connect (even if i mix them up) and the second players just wont.

open the compartment on wii next to the disc area and open your wii-mote batteries and press the red buttons at the same time or go to wii menu go to wii remote setting and press reconnect.
