Difference between pan-cake and foundation?
Wish to know your preferences. You prefer using pan-cake makeup or foundation? why ?

Pan cake makeup is very heavy and it is only used for the models and movies or for advertisement. we can hide the flaws , marks or spots which is looking bad on your face. because when the heavy lights like halogen lights fall on the face the make up with foundation will wash out. So pancake is to be used. Pan-cake make up is build with layers and layers. Foundation is good for everyday makeup and for party. Pan-cake only looks nice on television not in day light, It looks fake. foundation gives u your true complexion and even out the skin.

Pan-cake is completely out of date and only worn for stage and screen. The only times I ever used pan cake make up was when I was on television.It's think, heavy, looks obvious the skin and it can clog up pores and is difficult to clean off. I think heavy make-up is quite unflattering. Foundations can be light, sheer, powders, liquids, and all sorts of formulations. I like light sheer tinted moisturizers with sunscreen in the summer and in the winter I switch to a more moisturizing and emollient creme foundation to hlp protect my skin from drying out in the cold.

Pancake makeup falls under the category of foundation. So, pancake makeup is a type of foundation. It's the one you can only use wet. However, there are many types of foundation aside from the pancake. There's the liquid, cream, mineral and powder. The powder foundation is similar to the pancake, but you have the option of using it dry. For me, choosing the type of foundation to use just depends on the occasion.
