Yes. Our bodies are continuously shedding skin cells. This includes the skin cells in our under-garments too. We wear under-garments because it is generally more sanitary. We all have some type of "leakage" during the day. In a woman's case, maybe a light fluid discharge. Maybe in a man's case, a few drops of urine that didn't really shake off. Also, I've heard of some folks getting a little brown track in their underwear. Just think: if the track isn't in the underwear, where would it be? In the seat of your pants and more likely causing a stronger smell than it would be if a layer of underwear was in there. Underwear also acts as light support and protection. Everything is contained and is held in place AND underwear are typically made out of softer material than most pants. This reduces friction and irritation. I hope this helps.

  • because! there are so many reasons, where should i start.

    here's what i found online:

Undergarments are clothes worn under other clothes, often next to the skin. They keep outer garments from being soiled by perspiration, shape the body and provide support for parts of it, and in cold climates help the wearer to keep warm. Undergarments can be used to preserve the wearer's modesty, as well as for ****** effect. Special types of undergarments have religious significance. Some items of clothing are designed as underwear, while others such as T-shirts and certain types of shorts are appropriate both as undergarments and as outer clothing. If made of suitable material, some undergarments can serve as nightwear or swimsuits.

Undergarments commonly worn by women today include brassieres and panties (also known as knickers), while men wear briefs, boxer shorts or boxer briefs. Items worn by both sexes include T-shirts, sleeveless shirts, bikini underwear, thongs and G-strings. In countries where the weather is cold, long underwear provides warmth

Is that enough info for ya?

    Why Do We Wear Undergarments

if you are a woman and menustrating........ woman have discharge

people don't wipe themselves properly (i mean like washing with soap and water to get rid of the poop in their butts) then I think you should wear under ware. Cause you don't want E.coli all over your regular clothes or for that matter jeans and pants...i think it's unhygienic!

    Two reasons, I guess.

most people may not have washed their clothes every day. They'd wash underwear more often, which extends the life of the outer' clothes.

Frankly, with a lot of clothes now that's still a good idea. If i'm wearing a suit, its dry-clean only, and dry-cleaning is actually pretty hard on the fabric. So you wear a fresh shirt/underwear every day, and only clean the pants when they need it.

Becuz garments are made of many types of materials and many can be scratchy, cause an irritation, and some do not do well with moisture/sweat (like suede). Under garments do not have these problems as they tend to be silk, cotton and things. Under arm areas of T-shirts can stain (so it is only hurting the t-shirt). Women have cycles, not to mention the whole keeping cleaner issue. There are many reasons for them.

Hey, i think we wear undergarments to hide our private parts, else we cant open our clothes everywhere to change or feel cool:)

Also, our undergarments absorb the sweat which our body release. Else, our clothes will smell a lot. For girls, panty is necessary for the periods time and bra to hold their b***s.

As a guy, I wear briefs primarily for the support (and to keep my delicate parts away from the evil zipper! (lol).

At home a pair of running shorts with nothing underneath is fine...

To protect ourselves, we use under garments. It will protect the body. Take an example of shoe, where we use socks to cover foot. We clean the socks when it is dirty.
