R the defence personals in india treated in a step motherly way. By the government ?
The people in the defence services for long have been neglected . The dissatisfaction in the soldiers is clearly visible these days by reading it in the newspapers where we come to know that so many of them are leaving this illustrious institution.

This is true. IAS are dominating this Govt.Politicians are helpless against this caucus.Not only the defence personnel's also the techno crates is the victims of theses IAS.

The defence personnel at a fairly high level in the hierarchy are,in my view, a pampered lot.But at levels of lieutenants and below,the personnel's conditions
leave a lot to be desired.Their working conditions need to be not only improved but require to be made much
more attractive if we desire to recruit good people.They
need to be treated with compassion instead of being
viewed as automatons.It is not only their pay packets but service conditions and post retirement benefits
which require to be drastically improved.If things continue as at present,then we can be sure that pretty
soon except for the officers cadre our armed forces will be such a sorry lot that one would wonder whether they would be able to defend the country and its borders.

india is in ruins bcoz of this services IAS stand for I Am Sarvesarva
dabbling in every thing from nuclear plants to vegetable plants
