How much an fresh mechanical engineer from India seeking job in Singapore will be Paid. What is the procedure to find a job. Apply directly to companies or contact some agencies?

One of my friend came to Singapore 9 years ago with a Degree in Mech and work in CONSTRUCTION line as a GENERAL WORKER for 6 years until he get a chance to prove himself 3 years ago when 90% of the engineers resigned. He is a lucky one, some would still earn 14 dollar a day after 10 years working in Singapore. Don't think South East Asia...go Europe or US. In your case, Indian better avoid Australia if the value their live.
