Please take this animal to the PDSA she requires medical attention urgently ask someone to help you, get a strong card board box from your local store put in an old towel or newspaper together with the kittens. You are obviously a kind person or you would not have posted this note. You will not be charged at the PDSA. good luck

This is something only a vet can help. Take her in and explain the situation. If money is an issue, contact low cost clinics, the ASPCA or or humane organization with a clinic. She may have a blockage that did not pass with the birth of the kittens. Something could be up against the spinal cord. She needs a vet now, before it is too late.

It sounds like her female organs are infected and if this is the case it can kill her. The best option is to take her to the vet (I know you said it is rough) because most likely you will need to spay her to remove the infection. I had an adult cat whom we did not spay because she has a terrible heart murmer and the chances of her survival under anesthesia was very slim. In time she ended up developing something that sounds similar to what is happening to your cat (mine did not have kittens, we keep her in and our other cats are spayed/neutered). If she lost the use of her legs and has an ooze comming out there is no other option but medical advise from a doctor. Im sorry this is not the answer you want, but the vet is part of owning an animal. Please do your best to get your kitty care it sounds like she is in pain.

You really really owe it to this animal to get it seen by a vet. It doesn't sound like it is your cat so I can understand you might not want the veterinary fess. I am not sure where you are but in England we have the RSPCA Royal Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals who would treat it free of charge. If you are in England contact them via the following link http://www.rspca.org.uk/ If you are somewhere else maybe you have something similar(?) If not, I would ring some vets and ask what you should do. I can't imagine anyone would leave an animal to suffer, particularly if they have dedicated their life to helping animals.

Poor kitty definitely needs professional help. If you can't afford to bring her to the vet, then bring her and her kittens to your local SPCA. They might ask you for a donation of $50 or so to drop them off (I know my local SPCA does - call ahead and ask if yours does) but if you really don't have the money to spare, I understand money can be tight, maybe put them all in a box and leave them by the door. It's likely they'll put Mom down if little hope is had, but the kittens will most certainly need a surrogate for nursing while Mom recovers (if they are able to help her). Best thing to do really is to bring them all in.

It sound like there may be a dead kitten still inside it, or that they might have done some damage on the way out.

Unless you get it to the vet ASAP you may loose it.

Find a way to get this cat and her kittens to a vet ASAP or they will most likely die ! Try calling the local ASPCA or your local pound.

sounds like a dead kitten is still inside or an infection.

have you thought of the magical place where sick pets go called an animal hospital.

I think it's best you bring it to the vet.

just like humans we can die in labor but cats do more slowly...
