    Sateesh,

there's no silver bullet, and it all depends on his aptitude and interest. If he like higher education in the mechanical engg space, NITTIE in mumbai is a good bet. If he prefers to get into managment edn (MBA) then my strong suggestion would be to work on the shop floor for a couple of years and then go for MBA. prior work-ex will enahnce the learning and value of an MBA.

If he loves automobiles, that's one area he could chose to specialize. But in my honset opinion, one has to work fr a couple of years after B.tech before going in for the masters.

That he has to decide. Better options are first MBA in a top ranking business school. Or he can opt for M.tech / MS followed with some research, which will give him a good career at very young age itself.

if your son studies well, then the best opition is he can join mba.for this he have to prepare for the CAT enterance test which is really tuff.but if he is good in studies then there will be no problem.please allow him as to his wish.please dont compel him.
