  • Laptop ip add and default gateway are different.?

    I have a cisco fire wall .in port 1 my pc is connected with ip 172.17.1.58 mask 255.255.0.0 gate way172.17.1.250...port 1 of firewall is set as 172.17.1.250...

    Now in port 2 of firewall client LAN SWITCH is connected..port 2 is set as 10.24.9.1..and the gateway for client LAN  is 10.24.1.1...

    In that LAN SWITCH a laptop is connected with ip 10.24.2.105 mask 255.255.0.0 and gatway as 10.24.9.1 & 10.24.1.1...two gateway are added..

    Doubt is that ip of port 1 of firewall ,gateway of client LAN swich and ip of client pc are all different..only simillar till 2 digit ie 10.24..is this cofiguration correct?
