I own a Radeon HD 6870 card and lately all games have started to lag so I decided it's time for a driver update but when I checked some reviews for the latest driver (12.11,13.1, 13.2beta) I found out all they do is improve performance for Radeon HD 7000 series. So anyone else out there with a 6000 card who knows which driver update gives best performance for this series. Much Obliged.

btw I found out that my current driver is 8.something. That's like ancient now.

Ok so I just bought alan wake special edition (2dlc plus soundtrack)

So I put in my game disk it asked me to install something called steam did that. made an account. entered my serial key. then installed the game. after that i started steam and clicked on play. so it started downloading something. but now it's been 6 ****** hours!!!!!!! it's not even showing me what its downloading. just on the top left side it's showing -

Alan Wake "Insert Number"% (right now it's 29)

i have a really bad internet connection. i installed everything it asked me to but wtf is this **** that it's downloading. surely the dlc can't be THAT huge. if so im new to this steam thingie. can anyone explain how to view what it is that is being downloaded or updated exactly. i feel like i should just return the disc but that aint possible now.
