  • What's wrong with me?

I'm 20 year old guy in university. I'm very shy and self conscious for the record and I also have a huge stutter.

I don't go out clubbing like most other students, but last night 2 of my flatmates (who both are girls btw) asked me to join them in their night out. So we went out and walked around, talked to other students on the streets, and then went back to the hostel. We all had a good time. All 3 of us talked a lot, but I think the 2 girls talked more to each other than I was doing any talking.

Anyways I think they went out today, but they didn't invite me. I don't get it. Is there something wrong with me? Is it my stutter, and was it making everything awkward? What was the problem?

  • Why do I stutter so bad in school/college?

I'm a 20 year old guy. I've had a stutter ever since I was 5, but it has never really been a hinderance. Whenever I talk to family members, people in public and friends, I stutter but I still talk and it doesn't really bother me. However in a school environment I always used to feel anxious and extra self conscious that I already am. And my stutter becomes so bad that someimes words or sounds don't even come from my mouth! It's like something is choking my vocal chords. So in a way I cannot even stutter because nothing is coming out! I am in college now and I am feeing the same way. I think it is because I have always felt vulnerable in a school/college environment and feel as though I am being judged and I have to compete with my peers or something. That is why even in school, I only used to be friends with people who were either in a higher grade than me or in a lower. I am asking this question on Yahoo to gain a better understanding of it and perhaps find a way to deal with this problem?

  • What is Alpha Channel?

Ok can someone please explain what is alpha channel? I know alpha channels are used in Maya, After Effects, Photoshop and lots of other software, but I have a college assignment where I have to create an animation, and I have to render it out with alpha channel. I have made my animation in Maya, but I have no idea how to enable the alpha channel. I am not using mental-ray to render, just using maya software. In the render settings box, it says the alpha channel box is ticked which is right above the depth channel. But my question is, what will the rendered video look like if it is rendered with alpha channel, and what will it look like if it is NOT rendered with alpha channel?

  • Really weird question?

Ok I have a really weird question. I'm a guy, and I sometimes watch p0rn and fap. Anyways, I've noticed that whenever I plan to fap and there's a long gap between (like 4 or 5 hours), and I keep thinking about fapping, when I get to the computer and turn on the p0rn, I feel really weird and shaky and my heart beat accelerates, and I find that I cannot enjoy the p0rn or the fap. Like for example if I'm at college and I think " Man when I go home I'm gonna fap like hell ''and then I keep thinking about it when I reach home 5 hours later, this happens. However if its spontaneous, like if I'm already home in my room, and I decide to fap, its fine. I just immediately turn on the p0rn and fap and there's not problem. Why does this happen when I plan a fap? (Like I said, weird question lol)

  • Question about feminists?

Ok I think the most common argument of a feminist is: '' Why are men called studs for having many sexual partners and women called sluts when they do so? Why can't women enjoy casual sex without being labeled. ''

Now my question is, why do they always say '' why can't women enjoy casual sex '' instead of saying '' why can't men be called sluts too ''? This itself shows that instead of striving for equality, women want to take on the bad qualities of men without facing the consequences. Is this proof that all feminists are sluts? Because if you ask me, any person (regardless of gender) who has many sexual partners is a ****, and it is undignified. And having many sexual partners is not being '' more in tune with nature '' Flamingos have one sexual partner for their whole life.

  • Why do girls say this?

Girl say they don't care about a guy's looks. Well in all my entire life I have NEVER heard of a girl having a crush on a guy that looks plain average. Whenever a girl has a crush on a guy, its always an insanely handsome guy who's tall and has a six-pack.

Whereas for us guys, that's not the case. I've had so many crushes on girls who aren't necessarily breathtakingly beautiful, but they're beautiful in their own way. (The way they walk, talk and laugh, and the way they sing, etc.)

I've liked fat girls and even girls who have no boobs.

However I have NEVER in my entire life heard of a girl lusting after a chubby guy.

    What's with all the hypocrisy?

  • Is this slutty?

So I just heard a girl say this: '' I can smell a boy's deodorant, or maybe its just because I'm craving male smell ''

Is this a slutty thing to say?

  • How do women know so much about the male sex organ?

Have you noticed that a lot of women know so much about the penis? About its anatomy and the way it behaves and functions. They know even more than men and I am a guy! How is that possible? Men don't know squat about the vagina. How do they know all this information?

  • Are Cornish people inbred?

Hi. I'm new to the UK and I'm an international student. I've been to different parts of the UK and people have been really nice and I really like the people and culture here.

However I have been down to Cornwall and people there seem extremely racist. Of course they don't blurt out racial slurs but you can definitely feel the hate flowing through them through subliminal racism and they stare at foreigners like they are aliens from different planets.

I've also noticed that Cornish people are very short and not the best looking. Are they inbred? Because its a universal law that inbred people are racist, short and weird looking.

Is Cornwall the redneck county of the UK?

Not trying to be offensive, just curious :)

  • Question about Schengen Visa?

I'm a student in the UK. I'm thinking about Visiting Germany and perhaps Paris during the summer but I still haven't decided where I'll be staying....whether with my friends or in a hotel. I want to apply for a Schengen visa as soon as possible but I heard that they will ask me for the exact street address of where I will stay as soon as I reach the country. Can I still apply even though I haven't decided where I'll be staying?

  • Why is Britney Spears famous?

Seriously why is she famous? She has no remarkable singing skills. I'm not saying her singing skills are bad but there is absolutely nothing special about it. I'll admit some of her songs are good but that is only because of the combination of the instrumentals. If you take out the instrumentals and just have her voice, there's nothing great about it. It sounds like a voice that anybody with average singing skills can put on.

Whereas other pop singers like Michael Jackson still sound amazing without instrumentals. I don't understand, Britney Spears became big in the 90's, and in that era, people still had a great taste in music unlike today. So what made her so big?

  • Are women paying more attention to men's appearance now?

Ok I need a serious answer for this question. Please, its been bugging me for a long time and I just want to know the truth.

I'm a 20 year old guy, and when I was 15 years old and even 10, I thought a guy needed to be sweet and kind towards women if he wanted a girlfriend, and I always heard women complementing men on how sweet they were to them.

However, now I am in university and I'm finding that women ONLY complement men on how hot they are. Seriously I haven't heard any girl here use the phrase '' sweet guy ''. They all talk about how hot they guys are and how tall they have to be and they all should have a six-pack, etc.

I know women also like sexually attractive partners, just like men do, but really though, how is it that women have changed so much in just 5 years?

Sometimes I think its just me who's crazy and I have a distorted view of the world so I am posting this question here to get some insight. Are women really like this or am I just overthinking?

  • Why do people say girls only like jerks?

It always bothers me when people say that girls only go after jerks while they ignore the nice guys. Is it really the jerkiness that attracts girls to them or the way they look? Think about it...these so called '' Jerks '' are usually tall, muscular and good looking, while the nice guys are usually short and skinny.

And yet people say its all about attitude, and that's why the '' jerks '' get the girls because they are aggressive, alpha and rude.

Well I'm pretty sure if a short, skinny guy started acting exactly like the jerk, he wouldn't get any more girls that he already is.

So what's the deal with this? Why do people keep saying girls only go after jerks when its clearly the physical attractiveness of the guy that lures them?

(I'm a guy btw and I'm just trying to gain some insight)

  • Why are girls like this?

When it comes to male musicians, girls only like John Mayer, Justin Bieber, One Directions, or any band which has a really attractive musician. A lot of people say girls like these bands because their music is soft and gentle, and girls dig that. But in that case how come you don't hear many girls talk about Pink Floyd or Seal?

  • How to force myself to say hi to girls?

I'm a 20 year old guy. Extremely shy and I had social anxiety for a while when I was 17. Had a girlfriend once when I was 15, but it lased only 2 months. Off late I've been trying to force myself to just say hi to girls I meet in public places but I've had difficulty doing it. I keep telling myself that there's nothing to lose and nothing bad is going to happen even if they don't respond back but I still can't seem to do it. Can I have some advice please?

  • How come women aren't in the kitchen anymore?

What's up with this? I don't see women in kitchens anymore. I see them all going out and getting jobs and starting businesses. I think they're getting confused. Have they forgotten that they belong in the kitchen?

  • Do women ask out average looking guys?

I'm just curious. I know its usually men who ask out women but a lot of times women ask out men. Do women ask out average looking men? Whenever I've heard of women asking out men or seeing it on TV or whatever, they only do it to the insanely handsome men (the perfect 10 type).

My friend who's a guy has had women ask him out and he's very handsome but he has a normal personality.

I don't understand this....are women so shallow that they only ask out those model type men? Why can't they ask out average looking men? A lot of average looking men have great personalities but even the guys who have these great personalities never get asked out just because they don't look like Ryan Reynolds. (And before you say it, I am not butthurt or anything. I'll admit I'm an average looking guy. I'm only posting this question to get insight on how the female brain works.)

  • Why are women talking to me now?

I'm a 20 year old guy. As a kid, I used to be really fat but at 17 I started working out rigorously and within 1 year I lost all that weight and became a thin and toned guy. I have noticed that women notice me now and a lot of my female acquaintances have started talking to me.

When I was fat, these same girls who are talking to me never talked to me. They never even noticed me...it was almost like I was invisible in front of them. I am being completely serious about this. When I was 15, I used to hang out with my friend, and he would sometimes call his girlfriend and her female friends to join us. During these outings, her female friends would never even say hi or hello to me. They didn't even look at me for half a second! I'm not saying they should flirt or anything but to not even acknowledge my presence? There were 5 female friends and the only time one of them talked to me was when I was taking a group picture and they told me not to upload the picture on Facebook. And this is just one example. There have been countless times where I've been with my guy friends and the females have never even acknowledged me.

Now that I'm thin and toned, I find that girls always notice me and talk to me. The exact same people who used to ignore me, notice me now.

Forgive me for jumping into conclusions, but my experiences have led to me deduce that women are extremely shallow creatures who only notice people who are attractive. Can I have some insight please?

  • Why am I afraid of women?

I'm a 20 year old guy. Recently I've noticed that I am getting a little misogynistic. I read somewhere that when men dislike or have negative feelings towards women, its because they're unconsciously afraid of them. I've never had a problem with women before but now I'm starting to see them in a very bad light. I see them as shallow, mean, and selfish creatures. Whenever I see couples I always see some girl with some super tall, ridiculously handsome guy, even when the girl is just average looking. And then those same girls look at me as if I'm some useless bag of dirt, even when I haven't done anything. I only see girls flirting with these ridiculously handsome guys. I've never seen them flirt with average looking guys like me. It makes me feel like they're shallow, materialistic creatures who's aim is to get the hottest guy in the room and destroy everyone else who doesn't live up to their expectations.

I know these feelings are very exaggerated, but I sometimes do feel like this. And the dislike I feel towards women is only towards young women around my age or even those 40+ women that society terms as " cougars ". I don't feel this dislike towards old women. In fact I like being around old women...they are pleasant, sweet, cute and funny.

I had a girlfriend when I was 15 but it lasted only 2 months and it was mostly a long distance relationship and we only physically met each other 2 or 3 times.

But why do I have such negative feelings towards women?
