  • Ideas for T-Shirts for a 'HAG' party (Stag and Hen)?

Hi - we are holding a party for a group of people celebrating two of our friends getting married... we're mixing the girls and boys together. We're going to make some personalised t-shirts but not sure what sort of slogan/pictures to put on them. Most of the ideas I've come across are related specifically for just girls or just boys. Any ideas??!! Cheeky ideas are ok (but not too naughty as there will be family attending too!) Thanks!

  • Nightclubs in Amsterdam?

There is a large mixed group of us travelling to Amsterdam shortly. We enjoy clubbing but the last couple of times I visited, I can only ever find clubs playing dance or house music. Are there any clubs that would cater for our taste, which is Commercial Chart, Pop, RnB (i.e. well known music with words and not just heavy beats!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

  • Ideas for basic cocktails at hen party (and some names)!?

I'm hosting a party during the day for a hen-do. The plan is that we can all make up some easy cocktails during the day. I'm going alcohol shopping soon but don't want to buy too many different bottles as we are on a (mainly vodka, malibu and one or two others) plus mixers. Does anyone have:

    a) recipe for simple, tasty cocktails we can make ourselves (ideally use no more than 3-4 ingredients)

    b) ideas for what we can name our cocktails?! I want to personalise them e.g. incorporate the hen's name in (pretend its Mia)...

    Thanks!!!

    xx

  • Does anyone know what 2 decilitre (dl) of sugar and 2.5 dl of flour is in grams?

Apparently dl is the common unit used in Swedish recipes. I have a recipe for an amazing chocolate cake (from a Swedish book) but the flour and sugar amounts are in deciliters. Apparently some people have measuring jugs esp for this but I just have scales in grams. Anyone any idea? Or does anyone have a jug for deciliters that can help tell me what the quivalent is in grams?? I really want to make this cake! (Funnily enough the butter is given in grams!). Thanks

  • Which shoes?

Girls (or guys)... imagine a plain black strapless knee high dress (kind of like a prom style dress..). Now what colour shoes would go well with that for a birthday celebration. I was thinking red? Or should I stick to black. Maybe even a bronzey gold?

Also... peep toe or strappy sandals?

All ideas welcome - ta chicks! x

  • Does anyone on cerazette (or any other mini-pill) suffer from a dry mouth and funny taste?

Over the last few days I've noticed a fuzzy feeling in my mouth, slightly sore (but not very painful) and a funny taste, Its there constantly and its really bugging me now! I'm wondering if its linked to the cerazette I've been taking for the past few weeks. Has anyone else found this has happened to them and if so, how long did it last? Thanks girlies x

  • What dip can I serve with lunch?

I'm having a large group of friends over for lunch and have already decided on making a pasta salad and some garlic bread. The final thing I want to have on the side is my 'chip n dip' platter but don't know what to put on it! Originally I was thinking houmous and pitta plus raw vegetable-sticks but then I thought it doesn't go very well... or does it? (i.e. doesn't quite fit with the italian theme of pasta does it?) Or Tzatziki? Any other dip that would work? (ideally something I could serve with pepper and cucumber sticks so that I'm not on carb overload!!!) Ta peeps! x

  • What type of cushions go well with a brown corner-leather sofa?

Our living room in our flat is a typical minimalistsic modern room - cream walls and a corner brown leathre sofa. We're starting to add in tones of brown, cream and a bit of red through accessories and paintings. So I was thinking of getting some dark-red coloured silk type cushions to keep with the theme. However I rarely see any cushions on leather sofas so not sure if there is some best practice rule on what to do before I splurge! Any suggestions on what would look good? I'm so indecisive!

  • How reversible are Cerazette side effects??!!?

I'm on my third day of cerazette and am really worried about the potential side effects coming my way... especially after reading all the bad feedback during my research! One question I had was for anyone who has been off cerazette for a while. If you have gained weight and your bust size has increased... does this go back to normal after you come off them? I already have large breasts in relation to my body and I'll be so upset if cearzette permanatly inceases them! Any advice? I just need to know whether things are reversible if I stop taking them! On top of that I have spot prone skin (which has been reasonable well behaved over the past year) but I'm wondering if that makes me a more likely candidate to suffer from bad skin?

  • Post wedding gift ideas?

I have a few girl-friends (aged between 24-26) who have helped me with bits and bobs in the run up to my wedding and I'd like to give them a gift after the event to say thank you. Any ideas besides vouchers? Am on a tight budget of between £5-7 for each.

  • What happens if I take Norethisterone the day before my period is due?

I want to delay my period but have left it a little late. I know you're supposed to take Norethisterone 3-4 days before your period is due. However what happens if I take it the day before? Will nature just run its course anyway or is there a chance it could still work?
