  • Clear my doubt, please !?

Experiments show that the amount of heat given to a body depends on the mass of the body and the rise in temperature of the body.

From this Q gets directly proportional to product of mass and temperature rise, then

Q = k*m*T where T is temperature rise and k is specific heat.

Now tell me, isn't the amount of heat given to a body depends on time also. The more time for which it is heated the more amount of heat given to the body. If this is so then why don't we include it in the above formula.

  • 1=2=3 by logarithms.?

    Clear my doubt my friends,

    log of 1 to base 1 = 1

    log of 1 to base 1 = 2

    log of 1 to base 1 = 3 then

  • Projectile Motion Doubt !!?

When a body undergoes a projectile motion the horizontal component of its velocity always remains constant in the absence of any retardation. This should mean that the body should never stop in the horizontal direction but we assume that the body has stopped after it has travelled its maximum range.

Please tell me if my concept is correct or wrong. If wrong then why?

  • Proving 2 = -2 using the concept of complex numbers ?

Now this is something about complex number,

    1/i = 1/i * i/i = i/(i^2) = i/(-1) = -i

    So

    1/i = -i

    Squaring both sides

    (1/i)^2 = (-i)^2

    i^(-2) = i^2

    Then

    -2 = 2

Please tell me where i am doing the mistake.

  • Dear Mathematics Masters I have an EASY QUESTION for you !?

I and my friends are planning to draw Rangoli's this year on Diwali eve. I know its too early but you concentrate on the question.

So we are planning to draw Rangoli's. Our Budget for 1 rangoli is Rs 100. We have decided to make the rangoli of 3 colours namely RED, YELLOW AND GREEN. One packet of red colour costs Rs 6, yellow costs Rs 3 and green costs 10 paise.

Now the confusion arises when i have to choose the no of packets of each colour to buy so that are budget remains Rs 100 (neither lower nor higher than this) and in all there should be 100 packets.

So now you have to tell me how many packets of each colour should i buy !!

A VERY EASY QUESTION YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SOLVE IT !

    2. Now the bird has changed its home and is now in a closed glass cage and the cage is again in the hand of the boy. Will the boy experience any change in the weight of the cage,

    (i) when the bird starts flying in the cage with a constant velocity

(ii) flies upward with an acceleration

    (iii) flies downward with acceleration
