wat spices? and when exactly do you use 'em? in the water or out of it? do you serve it shelled or whole? wat sides do you serve it with? need suggestions....

OK...its my turn to host a brunch for the girls...and I was looking for some creative ideas for the menu....

three courses - appetizers, entree and dessert

I've jotted down some of my own - pan seared scallops for the first, sesame crusted tuna for the main and cheesecake for dessert (yeah I know I'm a lazy bum)...

but then these don't sound interesting enough, since I've already made these for family get togethers and formal stuff....

I NEED something creative...

I'm a good cook, so please don't hold back on complicated recipes.....help!!!!

I got a packet of pork sausages yesterday for dinner (I know I'm a lazy bum...)..anyways...and I forgot to put 'em in the freezer....

Have these gone bad? Can I use them to make breakfast now....

I need some creative ideas on cooking pork frankfurters...I have like a ton of 'em.....and I'm tired of the regular fry...or season n grill..or marinate and roast....or curry for that matter....or salad (yep my bf likes them chopped with parsley and jalapeno) or the ones that I find on the internet....

I have a couple of kilos of minced mutton in my refrigerator and I wanna get rid of it. Now I would normally make mutton kheema curry with it (its an Indian curry dish), which my boyfrnd really likes or I make patties out of it...

but I'm tired of doing the same thing over and over....so if you've got recipes that I can try, it would really be a lot of help! thanks!

I actually bit him hard on his arm last night...it took all the courage I could muster...and it just spurned him on even MORE!!!

My boyfriends keeps biting me during every sack session....initially it was OK and kinky, so I let him do it. But now its going out of control!

I keep talking to him about it and it leads to a lot of embarassment. He apologizes and promises to take care. But it goes back to the same thing all over again and I end up black and blue all over!! :-(

Its almost as if he doesn't realize that he's doing it!!!

Is this some sort of fetish? Is there a cure? Something we can do about it? Should we go seek help? Please, I don't know what to do...!!!

I usually use apples, walnuts, celery and grapes in the mayo-lemon-juice dressing....and I've had it somewhere they used pineapples...but I'm not aware which one is the authentic recipe.

I'm making sauted salmon fillets for lunch, and can't decide whether to add cooking sherry or red wine....the recipe duznt really call for it, but I'm good with experimenting...I think either will taste good. The seasoning includes sweet lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic and thyme....

I hate this and it always happens to me!! Every time I make caramel (stand alone or for anything else...) I burn the sugar.

I've followed instructions in the cookbook, internet and those given by Ma to the point, but it just DOESN'T work. The sugar keeps sticking (very badly) to the bottom of the pan and the final product turns out hideously bitter!!

Please help...I need pointers to improve!!

OK, I'm havin' an all girls' party...high tea...and the menu includes, well, tea...and an assortment of finger-sandwiches....(we don't plan on using forks or spoons)...and so far I only have mini-tuna-melts, grilled-chicken with mayo, and cheese-potato-cherry....I know there are so many more out there...and I just can't come up with any...please help!!

Oh and nothing exotic...just easy and quick to prepare!

This guy asked me out a couple of weeks back...and since then we've been on three dates. He's super cool, super funny and we always end up having a great time!

He's dropping hints for a fourth date and I obviously want to say yes. But my friends put this idea into my head that saying "no" and saying something like "oh so sorry...actually I'm going on a night out with the girls tomorrow...maybe someday later.." would give him the idea that I'm not "available" and "ready" all the time...and that I'm not gonna say "yes" all the time and its gonna drive him anxious and blah blah blah and all that. Is that true? What should I do.....
