according to hindu marriage act if a women ask for one side divorce how much time it will take to get divorce. marriage is done on 8th april 2010. when can she file a divorce i.e what date. from the day one of the marriage she is staying with their parents. we registered in marriage .

hi this is ranjith chaitanya.k and my wife is tetali uma divya. we loved for 6 years and we married in arya samaj and then afterwards we register in hindu marriage act on april 23 2010. but we did't told to our parents and we are living with our parents as usual. she told after 3 months that i married to ranjith and their parents are blackmailing her that they will die. i went and asked to their parents with my parents to send my wife to my home. no she is telling that it was a force marriage and she told the same thing in front of police also that i did the marriage with out her interest. their parents are forcing me to give me mutual divorce which i am not agreeing. you can type tetali uma divya in google and find a video of our marriage.

what is the time period of divorce for mutual. my brother said we can't apply for divorce untill one year of completion of marriage if you file also that will be trash away.

can any one tell me what is the correct procedure to apply for mutual divorce
