  • i'm confused.  i don't know what's going on.  what's life about?

if you live life.  what's the point of life.  the people you impress may be part of your virtual reality world.  if you are in a real world.  then there are big problems in the real world.  if this world is an illusion.  a fake reality.  then what purpose do you have to fulfill any destiny.  and if this world is real - why are we so self centered that we think we should get everything our way.  when eventually it'll terminate.  you can be rich like amazon founder and you'll die.  you can be the average joe and resent people for many varieties of reason.  who's to say any of this matters.  we all want to be happy.  but it seem for me - my sadness is that people don't like me.  i can't make my self more likable and fun.  i'm just tired and on meds.

  • do people have pressure get pressured to be accepted?

i'm thinking.  what does it matter to get people's approval.  we want to look good or be seen positively.  but what makes the person so important that we need their approval.  the budha says eventually we'll get old.  we'll lose our vitality and strength.  not just me, but me you everybody.

what i think is that it's evolution.  evolution made us have certain traits so that we may do what's right for evolution - which is to keep the species going.  not on purpose (keep the species going) but just do things that allow for it.  for instance, we may like to get a fancy car or a playstation.  if you have a playstation - all of a sudden, the friends want to come over to your house to play it.  if you have a car, people will want to hang out with you.  that goes well for evolution because then you end up protected (by having friends) and end up having children (by having people interested in you).

look, all i'm saying is: despite all the hardships in life, i.e., getting chewed out by your boss, having parents that fight, not getting along with your brothers and sisters, things not going well, does that still mean we care about whether people approve of us, or is that on the back burner.

children care about toys and stuff.  they have no sense of their parent's tough life.

  • this is a dumb question to ask, but why do they say the devil is evil?

it's not so much: the devil is evil

it's more: why do they say the devil is evil

basically in genetics, we're wired physically and mentally.  some of us have parents with certain characteristics, and so we the children of these parents have similar characteristics.

secondly, if our parents are happy and jovial, we're more likely to be happy or jovial.

so my point is asking why do they say the devil is evil when the evil just happened to be wired a certain way.  maybe not wired genetically but - situationally.

and couldn't any one of us be born the devil.  i am born as john doe, you are born as john smith.  somebody's got to be born satan.  satan didn't choose to be satan.  so how can you blame him?  if he's the way he is, he's the way that he is, then where does the onus lie?

  • how come i'm paranoid about my garbage can having water at the bottom of its well?

so here's the thing.  i've always been a little weird.  i'm not normal.  i'm pretty good at mathematics tops in my class easily with no problem or effort.  solved questions no one else in my whole class of hundreds of people can solve.  didn't practice it either.

but i worry about things.  i don't want to phone for a new garbage can if it breaks.  so today i was relieved to get the garbage can back from the alley before it rained.  i figured with the garbage can lid open the water can pool at the base of the garbage can.  oh no!  then it can create a hole or eat into the plastic.  i thought some more and thought well what about ketchup.  aren't there more acrid/acidic/extremeph things that are worse than water?

if i'm okay with ketchup and dirt and mud in the garbage can, what's so bad about water.  but it's the water that  makes me nervous.  what about the lid and exterior of the garbage can?  that's plastic too.  couldn't get wet from rain or even snow sitting on top of it and stuff.  if rain or snow is okay, what's the harm in water at the floor of the inside of the garbage can?

but water at the bottom inside of the garbage can makes me nervous.  don't know why.

secondly, my friend, who is also ill - just like me - didn't want to have his usb thumb drive in the usb port too long because the weight of the thumb drive might screw up the port by torqueing it too much.

what's going on with our thinking?

  • is believing in god not about you and how you're fulfilled?

i thought you can feast on the world; have the best of everything and try fun things and good experiences, but you still would feel empty if happened.  then i thought if you help other people, you won't get fulfilled either because no one appreciates anything you do anyway.  so then i started thinking this weird thought: maybe god wants us to love people and ourselves - not in search of fulfilling ourselves but just because it's doing the right thing.  by that token, we will be fulfilled even though we're not setting to fulfill ourselves.  is this right wrong partially right???

  • is capitalism a competitive thing; best thing we've got?

so capitalism is about being able to get capital.  good.  if i compete with people workers i can get a better job and buy things that are scarce before other people can buy it.  which is why people don't like capitalism because it isn't fair - that's one reason.  but we are bound to compete or be outcompeted.  if your friend has a playstation, then you must try to get a playstation yourself, or you'll be outcompeted.  i don't have to buy games at the game stop store anymore, i can just download it.  so much like blockbuster going out of business we can all just ignore buying physical games and just download - so if you're smart you'll short gamestop.

the point is compete or out competeing is like covering your short selling first, before some other short seller covers their calls.  the thing is if you don't compete in this world, you'll get outcompeted.

people might say, it's a crummy system.  that it's hard to be in the rat race.  but socialism and communism about being fair also also doesn't work.  because if you work hard other people will say thank you and bring nothing to the table.  so you say why work hard.

we all want things but the system can't be perfect due to human nature.  socialism leads to poverty.  while capitalism is really annoying as well.

  • is this what nft are - scarcity?

so basically if i have a video clip that i have identical to the person that has the video and a "token" of it.  the token is what makes it scarce - like a "coin" such as bitcoin.

    aren't you manufacturing scarcity.  i can numerate a piece of paper - mb0001 mb0002 mb0003 mb0004 mb0005 and maybe it make it a 1 of 1 or 1 of 500.  now it's scarce and rare.  there's a limited supply of this "commodity" i created?

    it's this what's going on?

  • how come i always want to fight ppl but not hurt them?

i always like to argue with people, or act suspicous.  not because i want to do something bad.  but because i want to get into the act of a fight, or relax myself and be free.  i'm always trying to one-up the world.  i'm not a bad guy.  i wish people well.  but i got this pent up energy to want to out do people.  i'm not trying to be better than people.  i'm just trying to be a better self, a self that is better than just sitting down and still.

  • the problem with considering things?

is hard when no one considers what you say is right - even though you think and think well.  how does a person know they're right when everybody disagrees with them?

  • cold dark lonely hell in religion?

why do ppl say hell is a cold dark lonely place, or they say it's a hot firey place.  don't they realize they're placing evolutionary values to hell.

back in the 1980s a computer magazine said we can start working from home because of modems but people like to be social and in communal places.

why do people say they want to eat things.  milk and honey isn't necessarily good.  it's just evolutionarily as humans if we eat we survive.  so that's why we like eating.  maybe in some other world reality realm, we like to get our energy from pricks of plasmaforgus.  it's human evolution to want to eat.  else we wouldn't live.  else we wouldn't have been born.

loneliness, is it so bad.  do you want to be around a bunch of nutcases.  and we're already living in the soaring heat at 25C/77F degrees for some animals.  for lifeforms on venus they'd consider we're living in frigid temperatures.  there's nothing to say heat or frigid temperatures is good or bad.  it's an evolutionary creature of habit and habitat thing.

the reason we dont want to be lonely is we'll die to being attacked by animals in the wild.  those who seek company survive.  those who seek food live.  there's nothing virtuous about company and food in logic in logical terms.

  • where did this biblical wisdom come from?

1 if your parent or parents have issues, god says not to look down upon them as u would not look down upon everybody

2 what good is owning the world if u cant get into heaven

3 dont judge others or u be judged urself

    this stuff kinda makes sense

in terms of science, envying ppl is good.  u keep up the joneses.  looking down at low lifes is a way for u to not become a low life.  u want to have as much as u can - as much as u can have so it improves ur survivability in the evolutionary world

4 go to ur enemies not ur friends.

jesus is pretty smart.  perhaps he is god?

  • how do you believe or know god is real?

the thing is, truth is truth.  it's a proposition - t or f.  either god is real, or god isn't real, or god is intermittently real, sometimes existing and sometimes non-existing/existent.  these are all things can't be argued by people as wrong because it's a logical argument.

the thing is we don't know what truth is.  we can only believe.  we choose to believe we are in a real world, or we choose to believe that this is an imaginary world.  we may be right or wrong in what we choose.

the same can be said about people knowing.  knowing is logically hard to prove.  do you know you exist - ii think therefore i am.  i have doubts with my logic.  the fact that i can doubt means i exist.

people knew zeus was throwing lightning bolts because he was angry.  this person that person we all know it's zeus.  and if you say you know god is real, where's the logic behind the fact that i can believe you.  there are people the believe in another religion and also know their god is real.  and your religions clash and contradict.  so logically how do i know to believe in your religion?  please - a reason.

  • is it true that the glass is never full?

i'm thinking.  you want things to be perfect.  like tom brady is super good looking, rich and talented.  but what does that mean.

we all want to collect things.  and get a high score.  but it turns out whatever we collect and achieve doesn't mean much after a while.

it's good to be better but even if you're the best or perfect, it doesn't do much for you.

to which i realize the glass can never be full: but you keep filling it.

  • what do you think of bad people - do you hate them - dislike disgust destroy unhappy?

i'm thinking - a lot of what we think or feel is an interpretation.  you eat strawberries and you interpret it as good.  but not everyone likes strawberries, some interpret it as bad.  if you eat rotten strawberries then you are disgusted or sickened by them.  it's not that strawberries are good or bad, it's how you interpret it.

much can be said about humans.  if a human looks a certain way or has a certain attitude, the human may be likable to some and not to others.

some people like humans that are virtuous and kind and good.  other people like bad people or mean people because they are mean as well and they want partners in crime rather than goody two shoes.

some of the people that pick on you or are hostile to you, you may under certain circumstances get to know them.  and they turn out not so bad.  you like them.

so it's not empirically good or bad.  it's just how you feel about them.

so say if you are in an eternal life, do you hate things that are good or bad, when in reality things may morph between being good and bad?

  • can a 2d plane be invisible if you look at it from its side?

so take a square 5 inches by 5 inches.  let's make this square blue.  it is an abstract or tangible square.  if it's an abstract square then it sits on a 2 dimensional plane.  that means if you look at it from its side, you can't see anything because it has no depth.  is this true?

second, if it's a tangible square, i guess as depth approaches 0, it gets thinner and thinner but it always has some thickness.  so if you're looking down at it from the top of the grand canyon and it sits vertical 90 degrees at the bottom of the grand canyon, you can't see it.  but it exists if something goes through it and punctures it.  is this true?

  • you can break a 2d shape or 3d piece into smaller shapes and pieces?

and then they can be located in various 2d areas or 3d space.  we all know that.  my question is is a line that's broken into various lines, you can place them on a 2d piece of paper and not just on the line itself: so is a line a 1d object or 2d object because it has thickness?

  • is human life a soul vacation or a soul disaster?

what is life about anyway?  if we are given a life, what for?  or if we chose to have a life, or chose this life, or chose that life, or gotten a life we don't want - m assuming we want a life for wanting a good time.  but why does my life suck and why am i unhappy?  isn't the point of life to be something good?  as in: the point to anything is to reap its rewards?

  • what is 2d space and 3d space?

let's say you take a 3 x 5 rectangle and you divide it down the middle.  then the area is half of 15.  but if you also divide instead diagonally you get two triangles also half of 15.  how come the areas are equal?  is area and volume and even 1d linear line some kind of quantity?
