  • Should Go for ssd ? hdd ? both ? none?

These are m current pc specs -

    Processor - Intel core 2 duo @ 2.6 ghz

    Ram - 2 gb

    HDD - 40 gb

GPU - ATI Radeon 5670 hd 1 gb

    OS - Windows XP

and my pc runs too slow....I just do a bit of surfing , play games like Fifa,Pes and Ashes. But still I never get considerable speed, I mean my PC takes around 3-4 minutes to boot and another 3 minutes to start functioning. I am damn unhappy with the performance and I'm of the view that my processor is not too bad to be not able to handle these kind of processes. Now I want to ask whether I should purchase a SSD and use it with my current HDD( around 10-12 years old )

or should I purchase a new HDD ? Will that make a good difference ? and btw my budget is only 4k.

  • My PC is running too slow and I don't know why.?

My PC is running too slow. It takes around 5-6 minutes for booting and then it's just too sluggish after that.

    My PC"s specifications are -

    Processor - Intel core 2 duo @ 2.6 ghz

    Ram - 2 gb

    HDD - 40 gb ( I'm through with that )

GPU - ATI Radeon 5670 hd 1 gb

    OS - Windows 7 Sp 1

I just play Fifa or Pes on my pc (casually) and do a lot of surfing and I have ccleaner which I use on a regular basis. Is it a Virus Problem ? I don't have an Antivirus !!
