  • Home schooling problem?

I have been truant from my school for one year, due to family troubles, and severe anxiety caused from the latter. I want to be home schooled, and where I live there is no education requirement, so my mom could teach me if she had approved books. They have my mom tied in with courts because somebody hot-lined us and said my mom was letting me stay home. (she wasn't). So she thinks she has to enroll me in a program where they take me to the school and work privately in order to close the case. (I have said due to my family's current state, I want to be home schooled and nothing else.) My question is, what can I do to close my mom's case and let them let my mom home school me. Because right now they are saying that if she home schools me I won't be able to get my G.E.D in a year (when I'm 17) due to the case being open. I'm just so stressed about my family and all of this bullshit they are putting us through.

  • is my grandma having a stroke?

she had numbness in her arm yesterday, and today she cant talk without slurring or just not making sense whatsoever. i told her to smile and she could, she lifted both arms without fail and it seems that the only sign of a stroke was the numbness in her left arm the previous day and the slurred speech today. she is gonna go to the hospital when my stupid uncle gets off work which is in 2 1/2 hrs but i want to know if i should call an ambulance before then, because within a certain amount of time a stroke can be reversed. another thing is that she refuses to acknowledge anything that could be a problem, she doesnt want to go the hospital, and to be honest neither do i, but is there some way i could just overrule her? i dont know but somebody please answer fast.

  • How many FPS should I be getting?

I am playing Crysis and I wanted someone's opinion. My specs are Win7 Home Premium 64bit, GTX 560 1Gb DDR5 VRAM, i5 2300k processor @ 2.80 Ghz and 8Gb DDR3 RAM. It's a good computer, well over Crysis' recommended requirements, but I get an unstable framerate, ranging from 39 to 50 FPS, the average is around 45. I play on very high, 4x AA no Vsync and at 1080p but I've tried other settings, and unless anti-aliasing is off it's just as unstable as very high. I was wondering if there is a problem, and if there is how can I fix it? My game is fully patched, it is legal copy, and I'm running it in DX10. (Presumably, I don't know how to tell other than seeing its .dll in the directory) The main reason I'm asking this question is that I get a better framerate in Crysis 2 and BF3 and countless other demanding games. I hope you don't mind reading all of this, I just wanted to be as thorough as possible.

  • Can't connect to Minecraft Server?

after the 1.0 minecraft release my friends cant connect to my server. we all have full accounts so online mode isn't the problem, i have hamachi set up so its not that either. whenever they add my server and try to connect is simply says can't reach server. we tried direct connect and that didn't work either. i can connect to my server but that is because of the local connection. and just to make sure it wasn't me, we set up the server on my friends computer and i tried to connect and it was the same problem. believe me everything is set up correctly.
