I have really long, thin, wavy, hair (I'm 5'4", my hair reaching lower back) and want to keep it at this length but am struggling in ways to protect and maintain it healthy.

I've tried the "no 'poo" fad but it did not work out for me.

I'm currently using Ogx eucalyptus mint and tea tree shampoo and it irritates my scalp. I don't use it often (once every 5 days or so). I've done research to find the best shampoo or hair care remedies but can't find one that works for me.

If anyone has had this type of situation or has tips on how to hair care, please help a sista out! I want to keep my hair healthy and strong.

I'm interested in joining the esthetics department, but I have to fill out for financial aid. Does anyone know if the school takes all of the money if the amount exceeds the cost of tuition? If so, how does it work? They just keep it? And if I want to further my education I can't save the rest for the next program? Thank you for your time.

I just recieved my AA in liberal arts and am currently looking for a job! I like working with my hands and trying to figure out how things work. I am currently employed as a security guard and am a full time care giver, but I want something different, ya dig? I'll take internships, as well.

ANYONE here know about the Blues in the early 1930's and about the oh, so famous Crossroads? What happened there? Why is it famous in the first place? And, what influence does it have on American music, history, and culture?

I did some research on it and people say many different things but I want to know the real version.

What I have found is that a famous blues musician, Robert Johnson from the Mississippi Delta (where the blues originated), also known as the bluesman, supposedly sold his soul to the devil in exchange for awesome guitar skills. The crossroad in which this happened was at the intersection of Highway 61 and Highway 49. His life was cut short at age 27.

However, others say it wasn't Robert Johnson. It was Tommy Johnson. And the crossroad where it really happened was not intersection 61 and 49, but actually Highway 8 and Highway 1.

Now I'm all confused and the Internet isn't really helping so I'm reaching out to people that are knowledgeable in music history or music in general.

I've been talking to this guy for about three months, he's 26 and I'm 21, and I usually see him every other weekend (he doesn't live near me).

How can I tell if he's really interested? He texts me every now and then but I don't know what to talk to him about because it seems like we repeat the same things over again. He lets me know when he's coming down, but he doesn't make the effort to come see me. I have to go see him all the time, not like it matters because I like the guy, but I just want to know what's up with him without scaring him away or make me look like I'm a crazy beeotch (which I'm not).

When we are together, it's fun. We joke around and he does cute stuff like compliment me, tells me I'm beautiful, play with my hair, kiss me on the forehead, but I want to know if I'm just another chick.

alright so a night ago i had this dream: someone pulled out my left front tooth. just one and it was the left one?? it didn't hurt and i put some thing to cover the hole. later on in my dream it started to grow back.. i don't know what it means? it didn't hurt when it was growing back either i just saw it growing too...

so i think my throat is swollen from my right side and i can tell because it looks different from my left side. it doesn't hurt when i swallow but sometimes i feel like i get knots in my throat when i smoke but i could still breath. my momma says it may be because of my allergies?? but i just want to make sure it's nothing serious. i just started taking some medication for my allergies and i'm waiting to see if anything happens.

i smoke weed almost everyday (don't hate) but i've been smoking since i was 12 and nothing like this has happened before.

i would greatly appreciate it if i got some answers from yall =] i haven't gone to the doc's because i don't have insurance and i don't wanna bother if it's nothing serious....

Okay use your thinking caps for this one.... so this has happened to me twice already but not consecutively, I had a dream about a baby boy recently but I wasn't his real mother like I adopted him? Because I didn't remember (in my dream) giving birth or who the father was but I was raising the child as my own. And I introduced him to my family and they were cool about it, which wasn't what I had expected.

So what does this mean? Like i said it's happened twice already. Not the same dream but something similar. I would greatly appreciate it if I got some feedback =] thanks everyone
