in india, some decades ago, such women were considerd with stigma, with no fault of theirs. even divorce was not easier then. if they happen to like some body, society would criticise them as wayward, !

i would like to know from both indian answerers, as well as from other parts of the world, what is the status of such women in their countries, and how do such women, whose lives have become miserable, due to loneliness, no kids, desire for male company, finding some purpose for living life, craving love, are tackled ?

what is the pattern of an indian society, in the past, and now ? will the society take kindly with them ?

how about in other countries ? any similar problems ?

we come across many women, who never got married, and as a result, are alone, to themselves. do you think, this is an universal phenomenon, or does it relate to taking over family responsibility financially, and sacrificing marriage ?

if at a later stage, they happen to like some body, should they go for a late mariage ? may be in their late thirties ? will they be happy ?

the material girl, dancing in a pink feminine dress, with getlemen offering diamonds, is getting crucified on the stage ? any one who has seen the live show, or even the video, may please enlighten us, and give opinion, on what is the damn principle, or concept behind this act ?

the famous rock band queen, did not replace freddy mercury, or continued touring, after he died at a young age of 45, does the fact that he was gay, or even bi-sexual, as he only would say some time, influence our admiration for freddy mercury's legendary talent ? if not gay, perhaps he wouldn't have contacted hiv ?

now- a days, we are compelled to watch two episodes back to back on wednesdays, and wait for the movie, or put off the t. v.! they also thrust it on us even on sundays, when we would like to watch some good movies! sex and the city is nothing but these 4 sex-crazy women hunting men for pleasure! i wonder how they are not afflicted with hiv so far, or may be they have, already, who knows? do you think it represents an urban american social buttrfly woman, or it is just sarah parker's personal fantasy, thinking she is the sexiest woman around, and knows good sex, as advertised on those buses?

i am mentally very active and alert, but when it comes to go out, meet people or simply take a walk, i feel extremely depreesed and lazy, taking out some excuse and staying at home in the evenings, while other people enjoy outdoors , fresh air, casual chat, i miss out on all this due to lack of proper motivation.how do i self motivate myself, so that i will be equally active physically also? i need guidance from you people out there, who are always ready to go out.

now- a- days, there is a trend that both the parties desiring to marry each other, should undergo test for finding out , that they are not hiv positive, and if they are, the other party has the right to cancel the marriage. will it be better than getting infected for hiv innocently, and ruining your entire life afterwards?

in today's youth, whether in india or u.s., we find atleast 90percent of them with delinquent traits, indulging in some unethical, unlawful behaviour, commoting small to serious crimes, drugs, hiv, and shady deals. the latest example of rahul mahajan, son of pramod mahajan's son, arrested in a narcotics case, are politicians' children als taking undue advantage of their status and connections?is reform possible or it's only a wishful thinking?

now- a days it's common to have more than one sexual partner, this is actually sex promiscuity, leadin to the risk of contracting hiv infection, and ultimately, aids, a disease with no cure found so far. today's young generation, as well as deviated, deprieved men and women, seem to worry more about the pleasures and forget about the risks involved, prostitutes have hiv 99percent, passing on to the customers, they passing on to their wives, and then to the inborn in wombs. that's the vicious cycle. how are we going to prevent this, if it's not taken seriously?

while there can not be a man who is totally masculine and a woman who is absolutely feminine, as the God has mixed up these qualities in them, we do notice imbalance often.some growing girls want to dress like boys, and some boys dress like girls secretively. later, we find men who are effiminate and women who are manly. thogh they may not go for a sex change, what must be the reason for this, biological or psychological, or something else?

there are thousands of girls in maharashtra, a state of india, who dance in beer bars and serve beer, the customers throw lots of money on them, some mal-practices also go on like illegal flesh trade, govt tried to ban it, but the supreme court has stayed the orders, the girls earn lakhs of rupees, while the bar-goers' families have to beg, literally, so many other criminal incidents also take place, still people want the beer bar girls to dance and amuse them, while the girls want to insist on continuing dancing. can they not earn their livelihood by fairer means?

in some of the t.v. serials, or movies from hollywood, we see elderly members of the family staying with their sons or daughters, who are married and have their own families, would they prefer these senior citizens living separately in homes for the aged or with them? in india, old age homes are preferred now as the younger generation wants their space.
