?

I'm somewhat new to the whole idea of rooting an android device, and flashing custom roms. I've rooted my phone successfully, but there doesn't seem to be a custom rom tailored to my phone anywhere on the web. Is there any way I could use a custom rom of different phone on my own phone..??

I mean , can i install roms made for other devices on my phone?? Does it cause any prob on my phone...

BTW My phone is Alcatel Onetouch flash..

I wan't to install lollipop on my device

First of all let me clear, by changing screen size i don't mean changing resolution. What i want to do is use only a part of my screen and not the whole screen.

Suppose i don't want to use lower half of screen, i want only the upper half of screen to be used. I want my phone to behave like the upper half of screen doesn't exist.

the truth is the lower part of my phone has some black spots ( dead pixels may be )

so i don't need the lower portion of my phone

i want it to be total black...

or if there is any way to cure those black spots ( dead pixel ) on my android

( motorola atrix 2 running on ics 4.0.4) please share with me

today i left my phone in home n went out

my sis ( 4yrs old ) tried too many pattern attempts

and finaly my phone was locked

and now it asks my google ( gmail ) account to open my phone

i typed my google account ( nearly 10 times ) and my phone didnt open...

i even tried a battery pull and switched off but i cant access my phone though i typed my google email and password correctly
