Can an out-of-state company, of a MFG park, charge the residents a percentage of their corporate taxes along with the monthly rent?
An out-of-state company owns a MFG park in another state. They send statements, to the residents, with the monthly space rent amount to be paid. Can they also add a percentage of their corporate taxes (going to that state) to the monthly space rent amount? I've lived here for quite some time, this is the very first time I've seen this and this does not feel right to me. I understand the space rent amount but why am I now responsible for a portion of the owner's corporate taxes?
5 AnswersRenting & Real Estate2 months agoIf I have a person stay with me, after surgery, am I supposed to pay them?
I have a knee replacement surgery scheduled soon. A neighbor has volunteered to be here 24/7 for a couple of weeks. I had the other knee replaced in 2019 and my hubby was there but he passed not too long after the surgery. Now, I live alone and want to get this surgery over with but scared at the same time. Like I said, a neighbor has volunteered to be here 24/7 for a few weeks. Am I supposed to pay her or what?
6 AnswersMedicine2 months agoHas anyone been able to join Zoom?
I've been invited to a Zoom Meeting, however, no matter what I do .... I can not get in.
I even input the Meeting ID number....and it goes to Launch Meeting and then nothing. I've even tried to create my own account, however, as I go through a list....it asks for the school I'm affiliated with. When I click on 'no', I'm not with a school, it won't allow me to continue. How do people do this who have a Zoom meeting with their doctor? The meeting, I'm trying to join, has to do with a local Garden Club.

2 AnswersSoftware5 months agoHow do I find my new normal?
My husband passed, last year and I was forced to move. I sold the house, found me a place to live and my son helped me move. At the beginning, of this year, I decided it was my year to help others and began volunteering in a few places....then COVID and a lock down hit. I'm still able to go out and buy the food I need but the places I volunteered at.......are not open yet.
Before I met my husband, in 2008, I was still working and then retired. We got married and did a lot of traveling. Now, thankfully, I have enough for monthly expenses but not much more. Some days - I just sit here and try to figure out how to move on.....I did go to Grief Share classes.
If I get out............then I tend to spend money I shouldn't. I just don't know what my new normal is anymore. I'm not depressed at all.....I just don't know which way to turn.
Before 2008, I worked and was always busy. Now, there's only so much cleaning I can do, in a day, and no one to talk to but my house plants.
